What is your best strategy for solving tough Marathon problems?
I brainstorm a lot (like 1-2 days) before writing any code. After implementing the initial algorithm, I typically draw new conclusions that allow me to rethink the approach.
How do you plan to prepare for the Marathon Match Tournament 2025 Final?
Getting used to short-duration contests, since the final is much shorter than what I am used to.
Which skill or area do you think was most critical for your success in this tournament?
I am not afraid to restart when I discover limitations in my initial ideas. This works well in the 7-day format, but it might backfire in the final.
If you had to describe your competitive style in one word, what would it be?
Slow
Which coder or competitor do you admire most, and why?
In the tournament, frictionless always felt like the biggest threat to me!
What’s your favorite hobby?
Couldn't pick one.
What is your favourite programming language and why?
I learned C++ specifically for competitions like this, and it's been my favorite language since.
